This workshop was a playful and reflective space in which, through theater improvisation dynamics, creative writing, drawing, and futures thinking, we explored how care tasks have changed over time and how we could transform them collectively. Participants reflected on who cares, who is cared for, and how they are cared for, across the past, present, and imagined futures. From these reflections, each person created three fabric flags with their drawings and words, representing their care networks at each moment in time. These pieces were hung in collective grids, forming a visual installation that celebrates the diversity of experiences and proposes new ways to care for each other as a community. The activity promoted the recognition of care as a right, an essential job, and an opportunity to build more equitable relationships.
